The Sagrada Família School of Dance enchanted the audience of Ponta Grossa with the show “Chronicles of Narnia”, presented at the Cine-Teatro Ópera. The assembly brought to the stage a combination of dance, fantasy and emotion, conveying messages about courage, friendship, unity, faith and forgiveness.

Inspired by the universe of Narnia, the show presented a narrative marked by the struggle between good and evil, exploring important values through choreography and artistic interpretations. More than a dance presentation, the proposal was to provide the public with moments of entertainment and reflection.

Show values messages of friendship and faith

Professor Leticia Barszcz, of the Sagrada Família School of Dance, stressed that the choice of history was motivated mainly by the teachings present in the narrative.

“We at Sagrada really like to choose a story that conveys a message, not just a show for a show, or a choreography for choreography. And Chronicles of Narnia was chosen precisely for this, because history transmits friendship, strength, courage, faith and forgiveness.

According to Leticia, the story also addresses themes such as betrayal, the ability to forgive and the importance of believing in the victory of good over evil.

The teacher stressed that the goal of the school is to use dance as a form of expression capable of transmitting feelings and awakening reflections among the spectators.

Cine-Teatro Ópera provides special experience

Another highlight of the presentation was the performance at Cine-Teatro Ópera, one of the main cultural spaces of Ponta Grossa.

For Leticia Barszcz, returning to a theater with the proper structure to receive a great production represents an important achievement for the school and its dancers.

“This year we’re doing in the Teatro Ópera, so that’s a big differential. It is very happy to be here again in a theater, which is a great, wonderful theater with a wonderful structure.”

The structure of the space has contributed to enhance the choreographies and the setting of the show, providing the public with an experience that united different elements of artistic expression.

Dance and fantasy excite the audience

With “Chronicles of Narnia”, the Sagrada Família School of Dance transformed the stage of the Cine-Teatro Ópera into a fantasy universe, in which movements and interpretations helped to tell a story full of meaning.

The presentation reinforced the role of dance as a cultural manifestation and communication tool, showing that art can also convey teachings and values.

By bringing together fantasy, talent and sensitivity, the show celebrated the importance of friendship, courage and unity, leaving a message of hope and faith for the audience of Ponta Grossa.
