SECOVI-PR holds lecture on NR-1 and psychosocial risks in Ponta Grossa

The SECOVI-PR Regional Campos Gerais holds on Monday (28) at Ponta Grossa a lecture on the changes in Norma Regulamentadora #1 (NR-1) and the inclusion of psychosocial risks in the management of occupational risks of companies.

The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. in the Auditorium Boulevard, located at Rua Quinze de Novembro, 512, overstore, in the Center. The activity, organized in partnership with UNIHAB, will have as theme “The importance of NR-1 for condominiums and companies”.

The lecture will be conducted by psychologists Sibelly Pedroso and Leticia Rosa, who will present aspects related to prevention, work organization and factors that can affect the health of workers.

NR-1 considers psychosocial risks

The changes in NR-1 have broadened the attention of companies to situations that go beyond physical accidents in the professional environment.

The chapter related to Occupational Risk Management began to expressly include psychosocial risk factors related to work. Examples include excessive demands, harassment situations, lack of support for workers and problems related to the organization of activities.

The identification of these factors should consider the characteristics and reality of each organization.

In 2026, the subject also gained space in the National Campaign for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents, which placed psychosocial risks among the themes of prominence for companies and workers.

Event is aimed at companies and condominiums

According to SECOVI-PR, the proposal is to present the changes in a practical way for those who work in the administration of companies, real estate and condominiums.

For the Director of Communication and Events of the Regional Campos Gerais of SECOVI-PR, Mari Kermelin Meira, the participation of psychology professionals broadens the understanding about the impacts of relationships and work organization.

“The look at human relationships, the organization of activities and the conditions that can affect the worker complements the traditional approach to occupational safety and helps to understand why the prevention of psychosocial risks has come to integrate the risk management provided by the standard,” he says.

The president of SECOVI-PR, Carlos Ribas Tavarnaro, stresses that the objective is also to bring legislation closer to the routine of professionals.

“The proposal of the meeting is precisely to bring this content closer to the reality of those who work in the real estate market and in the condominium administration,” he explains.

Participation and registration

Participation is free for members of SECOVI-PR and for real estate companies and condominiums in compliance. For other interested parties, the value of the registration is R$ 60.

Registrations must be made in advance through the system provided by SECOVI-PR.
