Shopping Plaza records R$ 100 million in sales and prepares new offerings in PG
With 140 active operations, the project reports 95% occupancy and expands infrastructure for gastronomy, leisure and events in the Campos Gerais

The Shopping Plaza Campos Gerais, in Ponta Grossa, recorded turnover of R$ 100 million in the first half of activities, according to the balance sheet released by the venture. With 140 active operations, the mall also reports to have reached occupation of 95% of its Gross Leasable Area just over eight months after opening.
The numbers were presented in material allusive to the 203 years of Ponta Grossa. As part of the Tacla Shopping Group, the development brings together shops, restaurants, cinema and a new Convention Center, inaugurated in September.
According to the balance sheet, the mall received an average of 300,000 visitors per month in the first half of operation. The Gross Rental Area, destined for commercial operations, totals 27,456 square meters.
New shops and leisure options
Among the brands present at the Plaza are C&A, Riachuelo, Renner, Maria Filó, Luiza Barcelos, Constance and Lindt. In gastronomy, the enterprise received the first unit of the Outback Steakhouse in the Campos Gerais. The entertainment structure includes the rooms of the Cine Laser.
For the superintendent of the mall, Frederico Galvão, the results of the first months demonstrate the potential consumption of Ponta Grossa and the municipalities of the region. According to him, the presence of recognized brands contributes to extend the time of stay of consumers and move the operations of the complex.
The expansion of the shopping center provides new alternatives to food and leisure. Johnny Rockets and the BowliPark bowling alley are among the announced operations for the coming months. The material disclosed does not inform the opening dates.
Already Divino Fogão, WSport Wear and the XPlay gym have started their activities in the venture.
Convention Center expands event structure
Opened on September 24, the Plaza Campos Gerais Convention Center has a total area of 1,500 square meters. The space has a modular structure, high right foot and access for loading and unloading operations, allowing different configurations to receive events.
The center works integrated with the shopping center, with access to the shops, the food court and the Muffato supermarket. The proposal is to expand the offer of spaces for fairs, congresses and cultural attractions in Ponta Grossa.

The first attraction was the international immersive exhibition Van Gogh & Impressionists, opened on September 25. According to the project, the exhibition occupies 1,200 square meters. Galvão evaluates that the new structure expands the possibilities of the mall and can contribute to attract visitors from other cities.
Partnership with the Worker
Plaza also maintains a partnership with Operário Ferroviário Esporte Clube, which includes a naming rights agreement related to Estádio Germano Krüger and the holding of club events in the mall.
With the expansion of operations and the opening of the Convention Center, the enterprise seeks to bring together commerce, gastronomy, entertainment and events in the same address in the Campos Gerais.
