Ponta Grossa is a city that has learned to grow by valuing its people and its institutions, and this is how a city strengthens its identity, expands opportunities and gains recognition far beyond its borders.

The Operário Ferroviário is part of this construction, every time it enters the field, it takes the name of Ponta Grossa for all of Brazil, it moves the city, attracts visitors, strengthens the trade, generates news and arouses a feeling of pride in those who live here. The sport has this ability to unite people around a passion and create a collective identity that strengthens the entire community.

GMAD was also born here and grew up taking this origin wherever it goes, 36 years ago we chose to keep our headquarters in the city, even expanding the performance to the whole country. We continue to receive partners from various regions, holding our main meetings here, prioritizing local suppliers and reinvesting much of what we have achieved in the region itself. This has always been a way of thanking the city that believed in us from the beginning.

Every time a city company conquers new markets, Ponta Grossa is recognized. Each time the Worker enters the field, Ponta Grossa gains visibility. Every time an entrepreneur invests, a young person finds an opportunity, or an institution grows, the Ponta Grossa becomes stronger.

And that is how development happens by the sum of many efforts.

Companies, universities, entities, social organizations and sport have different roles, but share the responsibility of building an environment capable of generating opportunities and projecting a positive image of the city.

The worker does this on the field. GMAD seeks to do the same in the sector in which it operates. They are different stories, but driven by the same commitment to Ponta Grossa.

In the last 12 years, we have worked to make the Worker increasingly a community patrimony, a modern club that looks to the future without losing its essence, and every new partner or company that wears the shirt of the Phantom for the first time becomes part of this collective construction.

Football has a scope that few activities can achieve, in a single broadcast, the name of the city of Ponta Grossa reaches millions of Brazilians, and it is at this opportunity that we seek to arouse the interest of those who do not yet know the strength of the princess of Campos Gerais. Similarly, when leading companies invest in the sport, they are not just supporting a club, they are demonstrating confidence in the city and contributing to a project that generates regional impact.

Development happens when we understand that the success of one institution strengthens all the others, the Worker is one of those institutions and will continue to carry this role with responsibility and seek to represent our people in the best possible way.

I am convinced that we can go much further, and we will get there together: companies, public authorities, entities, fans and the whole community. Because a strong city is not built only with works or economic indicators, it is built with people who believe and with solid institutions, capable of inspiring, generating opportunities and leaving a legacy, and this is what I seek to do through the Worker and the GMAD.
