State approves R$ 10.3 million tender for construction of new PM headquarters in Irati
Winning company will be responsible for drafting the projects and executing the work for the 8th Independent Military Police Company; process moves to contract signing
The Government of Paraná approved a tender of R$ 10.3 million for the construction of the new headquarters of the 8th Independent Military Police Company (8th CIPM), in Irati, in the region of Campos Gerais. The decision was published in the Official State Gazette of September 17, 2026 and represents a new stage in the hiring process of the company responsible for the venture.
The winner of the electronic competition no 28/2026 was Combrasen – Companhia Brasileira de Soluções em Engenharia Ltda., which submitted a proposal in the amount of R$ 10,388,988.92, corresponding to a discount of 9.73% in relation to the reference value of the bid.

The approval was authorized by the Secretary of State for Public Security, Hudson Leôncio Teixeira, through Decision No. 1275/2026, dated September 15.
New headquarters will have projects and execution under the responsibility of the company
The contract provides for the elaboration of the basic, legal and architectural executive projects, in addition to the complementary projects necessary for the construction of the new headquarters of the Military Police. The company will also be responsible for approving the projects with the competent bodies and obtaining the permits, licenses and other documents required for the realization of the enterprise.
The contract also includes the execution of the engineering and construction services of the structure intended for the 8th Independent Military Police Company. The new headquarters integrates state investments in public security infrastructure and should offer facilities for the operation of the police unit in Irati.
The document published in the Official Gazette, however, does not present details about the physical structure of the future building, its location or the spaces that will be made available to military police.
When do the works begin?
With the approval of the result of the competition, the process will be referred to the Bid Center of the State Secretariat of Public Security for legal measures. The winning company must then be summoned for the signing of the contract.
The approval of the tender does not mean that the works have already begun. The publication confirms the choice of the company responsible for the project, but does not set a date for the start of construction.
The deadline for the completion of the work and the estimated date of delivery of the new headquarters were also not reported in the dispatch. This information should be clarified by the Secretariat of State for Public Security after the progress of the hiring procedures.
