Student Visit to 1st BPM in Ponta Grossa Promotes Learning, Interaction and Closer Ties Between Students and Military Police
The visit of students to the 1st BPM in Ponta Grossa brought together students of the Evangelical School Boas Novas in a morning of learning, interaction and approach with the Military Police. Even when closed, the students participated in educational activities, met specialized teams and closely followed part of the police routine.
During the program, the students had contact with different areas of the Corporation and followed presentations made by the teams of the Cavalry and the K9 Shock. The activities took place at the headquarters of the 1st Military Police Battalion, providing a different experience for students.
One of the highlights of the visit was the interaction with the animals used in the police work. The children were able to meet the police dogs, caress the animals, observe the horses employed in the police and even participate in horse riding.
In addition to the presentations, the students learned about the equipment used daily by the military police and had the opportunity to talk with members of the team. The direct contact allowed the students to better understand the functions performed by the Military Police and the different forms of action of the teams.
The approach between students and the 1st BPM in Ponta Grossa aimed to strengthen the relationship between the public safety institution and the community. Initiatives like this contribute to presenting police work in a closer, educational and humanized way.
According to the activity proposal, the approach with children and adolescents helps to stimulate values such as respect, citizenship and responsibility, in addition to expanding knowledge about the importance of public safety in the daily life of the population.
Even in the face of cloudy weather, the morning was marked by the curiosity and enthusiasm of the students, who participated in the activities and knew a reality different from that seen normally in the day to day.
The visit of students to the 1st BPM reinforces the importance of community actions carried out by the Military Police, creating spaces for dialogue and strengthening the bonds of trust between police officers and society.
