Team carries out cleaning of Vicente Machado after 203 years of Ponta Grossa parade

The city of Ponta Grossa celebrated its 203th anniversary on Tuesday morning with a grand civic parade at Avenida Vicente Machado. The event, which was broadcast live on the social networks of the Portal Boca no Trombone (watch here), brought together authorities and about 70 civil, military and public administration entities.

With the theme “Ponta Grossa: from the Route of the Tropeiros to the Tracks of Innovation”, the celebration began with a concentration at 7:30 for the military segment and from 8 am, in a staggered way, for civil entities.

Focus on Cleaning and Release

Closed the passage of the entities, the highlight was for the work behind the scenes. The cleaning team of the Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa went into action for the disassembly of the hoists, the bars and for the complete sweep of the Avenida Vicente Machado.

One of the points was the removal of the waste left by the horses that participated in the military parade and traditionalist entities. The servers made sure the runway was clean.

Soon after the clean-up is over, the forecast is that the re-establishment of the flow in the city center will be in the afternoon.
