TIM off the air in Ponta Grossa? Platform points to problems
Users sought BnT on Wednesday (9) to complain about difficulties using the mobile network; platform Downdetector also recorded an increase in failure notifications

TIM customers on Ponta Grossa report operator signal problems during the afternoon of Wednesday (9). The Portal BnT Online received complaints from users who faced instability and difficulties in using mobile phone and internet services in the city.

The reports began to gain momentum during the afternoon. In addition to the complaints received by the BnT, the Downdetector platform, which gathers notifications made by users about problems in digital and telecommunications services, also pointed to an increase in occurrences related to TIM.
Reports increased during the afternoon
At around 3:42 p.m., the Downdetector recorded 19 reports, before a baseline of four notifications. At 4:12 p.m., there were 16 records. At around 4:43 p.m., the number rose again and reached 21 reports, while the baseline indicated by the platform was five. The movement in the graph shows that notifications were above the pattern observed in the previous hours.
The Downdetector data represents reports sent by the users themselves and therefore does not necessarily mean that all the customers of the operator are facing problems. In Ponta Grossa, however, users searched for BnT to report difficulties with the TIM signal during the afternoon.
BnT sought TIM
The Portal BnT Online contacted TIM to find out if the company confirms any instability in Ponta Grossa, what services may have been affected, the cause of the problem and whether there is a forecast for full network normalization.
Until the publication of this article, the operator had not yet forwarded positioning. The space remains open and the text will be updated as soon as there is a return.
Complaints from Procon
The instability occurs a few weeks after TIM appears at the top of a reasoned complaints report released by Procon of Ponta Grossa. According to a survey published by the BnT in August, the operator added 19 records, being the company with the highest number of occurrences among the suppliers included in that publication.
Of the 19 cases related to TIM, 13 were classified as substantiated complaints attended and six as unattended. The data refers specifically to the list of processes approved and published by Procon.
