Two women are arrested after owner of a vehicle shop and employee are killed in Sengés
Vehicle shop owner and employee from Carlópolis were shot dead in the rural area; police recovered a vehicle, money, checks and other items during the investigations
The Civil Police are investigating a double robbery in Sengés, municipality of Campos Gerais, registered on Tuesday (3). Two women were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of the owner and an employee of a car shop in Carlópolis. According to police, the victims were lured to the rural area of Sengés by an alleged negotiation of the purchase of a vehicle and ended up shot dead.
According to the information passed on by the Civil Police of Sengés, the two women would have used the promise of buying a car to attract the victims. During the criminal action, the men were shot with a burnt-out firearm.
The bodies were found in a forest region, approximately 15 kilometers away from the urban area of Sengés. According to police, the victims were at different points, separated by about a kilometer.
Police recover vehicle taken from victims
After the crime, teams of the Civil Police of Sengés, with the support of the Military Police of São José of Boa Vista, carried out diligences that resulted in the location of the two suspects.
The vehicle removed from the victims was found in a car wash facility, known as a rapid wash, in the municipality of São José of Boa Vista.
According to police information, the two women reside together in São José of Boa Vista. One of them is natural of the municipality of Quatiguá, also located in Paraná.
Money, checks and police materials are found
During the searches in the residence of the investigated, the police located approximately R$ 15,000 in cash and checks that, added up, represent about R$ 500,000.
In the property were also found ammunition, stickers with identification of the Federal Road Police (PRF) and t-shirts with references to the Criminal Police and the Civil Police.
Another material recovered was a motorcycle that, according to the investigation, had been stolen days earlier in the municipality of Wenceslau Braz. The police are also investigating the involvement of the two women in the incident.
The objects found were collected during the diligence and may help clarify the circumstances of the crimes.
Two women must answer for double robbery
The Civil Police said that the suspects will be charged with double robbery, a crime characterized by theft followed by death.
The investigations seek to clarify all the details of the action, including the dynamics of the shootings, the approach of the victims and the circumstances of the subtraction of the vehicle.
The incident mobilized security forces from different municipalities in the region, especially Sengés and São José of Boa Vista.
Until the initial information was released, the identities and ages of the victims and the women arrested had not been disclosed.
The case is still ongoing, and new information may be released by authorities in the coming hours.
