Van Gogh & Impressionists Exhibition is extended in Ponta Grossa and announces half-price tickets for all

The Van Gogh & amp; Impressionists exhibition at Ponta Grossa had its season extended to November after reaching the 10,000 visitor mark in just 25 days. Installed on the Shopping Plaza Campos Gerais, the attraction also announced a special condition: all visitors will be able to pay half-entry, regardless of age, from Tuesday to Sunday, at any time, without the need to present proof.

The decision to extend the season comes after the public success of the immersive exhibition, which first arrived in the city and became one of the cultural attractions of the Campos Gerais region.

Immersive experience brings together works by great artists

Installed in the new Shopping Plaza Convention Center Campos Gerais, the exhibition covers an area of 1,200 square meters and provides an experience that combines art, technology and visual effects.

Through high-definition 360-degree projections, visitors are transported to the universe of some of the best-known paintings in art history.

The images are projected onto the walls and on the floor, creating environments that engage the audience with colors, movements and details of the artists’ brushstrokes.

Among the works presented are classics by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, such as The Starry Night, Sunflowers, Room in Arles, Almond Blossom and his famous self-portraits.

The exhibition also brings together works by other great names of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Gauguin and Paul Cézanne.

Exhibition has already received more than 1 million visitors in Brazil

According to the superintendent of Shopping Plaza Campos Gerais, Frederico Galvão, the extension represents a new opportunity for residents of Ponta Grossa and tourists to get to know the attraction.

“With this extension, residents of Ponta Grossa and visitors from all over the Campos Gerais region gain another opportunity to get to know the exhibition, which has already received more than 1 million visitors in other Brazilian cities,” he emphasizes.

In addition to entertainment, the exhibition has an educational character and receives school groups interested in providing students with an approach to the visual arts.

With the extension, the exhibition will continue to operate from Tuesday to Sunday, including holidays, with half-entry free for all audiences.
