Woman Injured After Rollover on PRC-466 in Guarapuava
A 39-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to medical treatment after the accident in the afternoon of this Thursday (4).
A capsizing on PRC-466, recorded in the afternoon of Wednesday (4), in Guarapuava, in the Central-South region of Paraná, left a 39-year-old woman injured. The accident occurred around 4.30 p.m., at kilometer 256 of the highway, and involved a Fiat Siena ELX with Maringá plates.
According to information passed on by Polícia Militar Rodoviária do Paraná (BPRv), the driver was following the PRC-466 in the direction of Guarapuava-Pitanga when, on reaching the stretch of kilometer 256, the vehicle was involved in a rollover accident.
The incident caused damage to the car and left the driver with injuries classified as moderate. After the care, the woman was referred to a health unit, where she would receive the necessary medical care.
The driver was heading for Pitanga.
According to the report of the 5th Company of the Road Police Battalion, the accident happened during the driver’s trip on the state highway.
The Fiat Siena ELX, registered in the municipality of Maringá, was traveling towards Pitanga when the overturning occurred.
The information disclosed by the authorities does not detail the circumstances that led to the loss of control of the vehicle or the occurrence of the accident.
The name of the driver, the hospital unit to which she was referred or the existence of other occupants in the car were also not reported.
