48-year-old truck driver identified who died after accident on PR-239 in Sengés
Truck driver who died on PR-239 in Sengés is identified after semi-truck overturned. Victim was 48 years old and from Arapoti.
The driver who died on PR-239 in Sengés was identified as Acir Faustinoni, 48. The truck driver suffered an accident with a wagon on the afternoon of Wednesday (23), in the km 00+400 of the highway, came to be rescued and referred to the Hospital of Itararé, but did not resist the injuries.
According to information gathered at the site, Acir worked for the company Francatto Transportes. The truck involved in the accident, a Mercedes-Benz Actros, along with two Randon semi-trailers, possessed Arapoti municipal plates, in the Campos Gerais do Paraná.
The accident happened around 14:45, on PR-239, in Sengés. According to information from the Paraná Military Police, through the Road Police Battalion (BPRv), the set of vehicles was traveling in the direction Itararé (SP) – Sengés when the landing occurred.
Service teams were called in to assist the driver. After the first visits, Acir Faustinoni was sent alive to the Hospital of Itararé, in the state of São Paulo, but ended up not resisting the severity of the injuries.
The occurrence caused changes in the traffic of the highway during the accident. The traffic remained operating in the Stop and Follow system to allow the work of the rescue teams and the bodies responsible for attending to the occurrence.
The identification of the driver who died in PR-239 in Sengés was confirmed after the procedures performed by the teams involved in the accident.
The Polícia Militar Rodoviária carried out the pick-ups on site to record the circumstances of the crash and should ascertain the causes of the accident.
