Aliel highlights performance in the Chamber and seeks to expand Paraná's presence in Brasília
Aliel Machado highlights his performance in the Chamber, resources allocated to Paraná and national project relatorships during his re-election campaign.
The federal deputy Aliel Machado (PV-PR) arrives at the end of the campaign for re-election highlighting the accumulated performance in three terms in the Chamber of Deputies, the passage by the presidency of three commissions and the articulation of resources for municipalities of Paraná. In 2026, the parliamentarian reintegrated the list of 100 “Heads of the Congresso Nacional”, elaborated by the Intersyndical Department of Parliamentary Advice (DIAP). The Chamber of Deputies
Aliel was also in the DIAP relationship in 2024 and 2025. The survey of the department uses criteria related to the capacity to act in the legislative process, such as formulation, articulation, negotiation and participation in debates. Therefore, it is a classification produced by DIAP itself.
A native of Ponta Grossa, Aliel currently holds her third term as a federal deputy, beginning in February 2023. The Chamber records previous mandates between 2015 and 2019 and between 2019 and 2023.
Passage through three committee presidencies
During his tenure, Aliel presided over three House standing committees. In 2021, he headed the then Commission on Science and Technology, Communication and Informatics. In March 2023, he was elected president of the Commission for the Defense of the Rights of the Elderly. The following year, he assumed the presidency of the Committee on Culture, a position he held until March 2025.
The functions are part of the political balance sheet presented by the deputy during the campaign for a fourth term.
Acting in 150 municipalities
According to data released by Aliel's office during the campaign, the parliamentary member is active in approximately 150 municipalities in Paraná and would have participated in the articulation of almost R$ 1 billion in investments during the current term.
The same disclosure allocates more than R$ 430 million to the Health area in Paraná, involving costing, health units, hospitals, equipment, specialized care and renovation of structures. These numbers are presented by the candidate’s team as a mandate balance and involve resources obtained in conjunction with different levels of government.
The expression “Health deputy”, used in the campaign material, is attributed by the council to mayors and municipal leaders who maintain a political relationship with the parliamentary.
“I know how much a work, a device or a resource can change the reality of a city. Therefore, when I am in Brasilia, the goal is always to bring the demands to those who can help solve them,” says Aliel in the material released by the campaign.
Carbon market
Another highlight in the parliamentary history is the participation in the regulation of the carbon market. Aliel was the rapporteur in the Chamber of the project that instituted the Brazilian System of Trade in Greenhouse Gas Emissions (SBCE). The proposal was subsequently transformed into Law No. 15.042/2024, which formally created the Brazilian system. The parliamentary also received, in 2024, the so-called Green Economy Award, awarded by the Green Economy Frente Parlamentar. The awards brought together different personalities linked to the environmental agenda.
Aliel is a project rapporteur on digital markets
Currently, Aliel is also rapporteur of Bill No. 4.675/2025, which deals with the economic and competitive regulation of large companies in digital markets.
The House records that he was designated rapporteur in October 2025 and submitted preliminary opinion in July this year. The proposal provides for specific rules for economic agents considered of systemic relevance and changes in the structure of the Administrative Council of Economic Defense (Cade).
The project is often called a proposal on the “Big Techs”, although its focus is specifically on competition in digital markets. The text is still being processed in the House. Congresso Nacional
In demonstrations on the proposal, Aliel says the goal is to increase legal certainty and competition in digital markets. This is the position defended by the rapporteur; the project is also the subject of debates among parliamentarians, companies and experts about its possible economic effects.
Elections 2026
In 2026, Aliel contests a fourth consecutive term as federal deputy for Paraná. In the campaign, the parliamentary presents as arguments for continuity the experience accumulated in Brasilia, the reports of national projects and the relationship with Paraná municipalities.
“I’m very proud of everything we’ve been able to build so far, but I don’t see it as a finishing point. I want to continue working, opening doors and conquering even more for our people,” says the candidate in the material released by his team.
