Carambeí is eligible to receive funds destined for basic sanitation

The municipality of Carambeí, in Campos Gerais, was authorized by the Regulatory Agency of Public Services Delegates of Paraná (Agepar) to receive resources related to the Municipal Fund of Basic and Environmental Sanitation (FMSBA). The decision is contained in Resolution No. 77 of 28 October 2026, published in the Official State Gazette on 30 October.
According to the resolution, the percentage established is 1.5% of the operating revenue linked to the rate of the Sanitation Company of Paraná (Sanepar), following the rules of the Resolution Agepar no 10/2022 and its updates.
The qualification represents an administrative step for the transfer of values to the municipal fund, an instrument aimed at the basic sanitation and environmental policy.
The administrative process is processed under protocol No. 20.175.880-7 and was analyzed by the Board of Directors of Agepar during a meeting held on October 27.
The resolution entered into force on the date of publication and was signed by the rapporteur Marcelo Luiz Curado and the President-Director Rubens Bueno.
The document, however, does not inform the financial amount that Carambeí will receive nor does it present a timetable for the transfer of resources.
Nor are specified the works or interventions that can be financed with these amounts. These definitions depend on additional information from the City of Carambeí and the bodies responsible for the municipal fund.
