The beer goes far beyond the glass in the Campos Gerais. Between November 3 and 6, Ponta Grossa hosts the 2nd Beer Studies Week, a program that promises to explore the beer universe and highlight the potential of the drink as a tourist, gastronomic and economic attraction of the region.

The initiative brings together the Senac Estação Saudade, Adetur Campos Gerais and Sebrae, with activities aimed at the enhancement of brewing culture, the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of a market that also drives tourism and regional entrepreneurship.

With a program that mixes history, gastronomic experiences, artisanal production and an industry visit, the event presents different stages of the brewing universe, from the elaboration of the drink to its presence at the table.

Beer, gastronomy and tourism

The beer culture has the potential to broaden the experiences offered to visitors of the Campos Gerais. In addition to the natural landscapes and historical attractions, the region finds new possibilities in gastronomy and beverage production to diversify its tourist routes.

This is precisely the connection that Beer Studies Week aims to enhance. The proposal is to bring together consumers, professionals, entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the sector, showing how beer can integrate tourist experiences, move gastronomic establishments and strengthen the identidade regional.

The programming also opens space for those who want to know better the manufacturing processes, discover possibilities of harmonization and understand the behind-the-scenes of one of the most traditional drinks in the world.

Four days of beer experiences

The program begins on Tuesday (3), with the conversation wheel "Beer, from history to the glass", at the Saudade Station. The meeting will address the trajectory of the drink and its cultural importance.

On Wednesday (4), the workshop "Production of Craft Beer - From the pot to the glass" will be held, providing an approach to the processes involved in craft manufacturing.

The gastronomy gains prominence on Thursday (5), with the class-show "Beer at the table", which highlights the presence of the drink in the cuisine and its possibilities of harmonization.

The closure takes place on Friday (6), with a technical visit to Ambev, an opportunity to get to know the behind-the-scenes of brewing on an industrial scale.

Beer tourism gains ground

For Adetur Campos Gerais, partner of the initiative, the enhancement of brewing culture is aligned with the strengthening of regional tourism and the creation of experiences capable of connecting visitors, producers and entrepreneurs.

The brewery tourism represents an opportunity to integrate gastronomy, industry, culture and leisure, expanding the possibilities of visitation and consumption of products and services in the region.

By promoting knowledge and experiences related to the beverage, Beer Studies Week also contributes to highlighting a segment that can add value to the Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais tourist itineraries.

The activities take place between the 3rd and 6th of November 2026, with programming in the Saudade Station and a technical visit to Ambev.
