Collision between a car and a train leaves driver injured on Teixeira Soares highway
Collision occurred on Thursday night (7). The driver was taken to the Teixeira Soares Urgent Care Center for treatment.
Collision involving a car and a locomotive was recorded on Wednesday night, on PR-438, on the stretch between Fernandes Pinheiro and Teixeira Soares.
According to information from the State Road Police (PRE), a VW Gol Automobile with Reserve Plate, followed direction Teixeira Soares to Fernandes Pinheiro, when reaching kilometer 14 at a railroad level crossing, involved in the collision with the train, a locomotive owned by RUMO, 20 wagons in the direction of Ponta Grossa.
The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was injured and referred to the Pronto Atendimento de Teixeira Soares by the SAMU.
The train driver, a 48-year-old man, was not injured.
