Defense of Bolsonaro requests STF to resume Flávio's visits ahead of schedule
Defense of Jair Bolsonaro requests STF authorization for Flávio Bolsonaro to resume visits to his father before the end of the suspension

The defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) requested to Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), on Monday (5), that Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) be allowed to visit the father again before the end of the suspension period imposed by the Court.
The request was forwarded to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, responsible for the decision that banned Flavio from visiting Bolsonaro for a period of 90 days. The restriction officially ends on October 11.
Defense considers unnecessary restriction
In the demonstration presented to the Supreme Court, the lawyers argue that, given the proximity of the end of the established deadline, there would be no need to maintain the limitation on visits.
The suspension came after Flávio Bolsonaro released a letter written by the former president in July. The content was posted on social media after a visit to the father. On the occasion, Moraes also determined measures related to the possible use of the message for political-electoral purposes.
Bolsonaro is subject to restrictions that prevent the use of social networks and the internet, including through third parties. The measure involving Flavio was specifically maintained for a period of 90 days after the disclosure of the letter.
Bolsonaro is under house arrest
The former president was sentenced to 27 years and three months in prison in the process related to the attempted coup. Later, after health problems and hospitalization, Bolsonaro received authorization to remain under house arrest for humanitarian reasons.
It will now be up to Minister Alexandre de Moraes to review the new request submitted by the defense and decide whether Flávio Bolsonaro can resume visits before October 11.
