Document reveals Mazer's request after Zampiere's remarks on 'mailboxes'

The BnT Online had access to the full representation presented by the councilor Guilherme Mazer (PT) against Ricardo Zampieri (PL), which will be analyzed by the plenary of the Câmara Municipal de Ponta Grossa on Monday (21). The document reveals the arguments presented by Mazer and details the measures requested after Zampieri’s statements about alleged “bags” and a possible new operation of the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco) in the municipal legislature.

The representation, signed electronically and dated August 31, 2026, requests that Zampieri be formally summoned to submit, within 48 hours, documents supporting the statements made during the ordinary session of August 24. The novelty is that the document obtained by the BnT confirms that Mazer expressly requested the referral of the case to the Corregedoria if Zampieri does not present the requested evidence.

The representation is on the agenda of this Monday, under Protocol No. 5081/2026, in a single discussion. The plenary shall decide on the possible referral of the case to the Corregedoria.

What does the representation presented by Mazer say?

In the document, Mazer states that Ricardo Zampieri filed a widespread complaint against Câmara Municipal councilors during the August 24 session. According to the representation, Zampieri mentioned alleged illegalities that were being investigated by Gaeco, in addition to making references to situations that could involve members of the Legislative.

The document reproduces the following statement attributed to Zampieri: "When GAECO's operation here on Câmara Municipal de Ponta Grossa occurred - which by the way should happen again, and if it happens many here, perhaps even you - of the things that involve here behind, the bags, and so on, that everyone knows what happens to some..."

The reproduction of the manifestation appears on the first page of the representation. For Mazer, the statements must be accompanied by documents that allow verifying the existence of the facts mentioned. The councilman argues that Zampieri presented accusations without precisely delimiting the allegedly involved, including the possibility that the statements reached the author of the representation itself.

Document charges presentation of proof in 48 hours

On the second page, Mazer presents the requests addressed to the Presidency of the House. The parliamentarian requests that Ricardo Zampieri be officially notified to forward to the Executive Bureau the documents proving the statements made during the Parliamentary Communication.

The period requested is 48 hours, on the basis of Article 16, paragraph VII, and single paragraph of the Rules of Procedure of Câmara Municipal. The representation also establishes a second provision: if the documents are not presented, Mazer asks that the case be referred to the Corregedoria for the adoption of the appropriate measures.

The formal request shows that Mazer’s initiative is not limited to collecting public clarifications from the parliamentary colleague. The councillor also requests institutional measures if the statements are not accompanied by documentation.

However, the document obtained by the BnT does not allow to state that Zampieri has ceased to present evidence. The representation records the requests made by Mazer, but does not contain the PL councillor’s response or inform the result of any notification.

The case arrives in plenary on Monday

The representation forms part of the agenda of the ordinary session of Monday (21), when the councillors must decide on its referral to the Corregedoria. According to the agenda, the matter will be discussed in a single discussion. The vote deals specifically with the representation related to the complaint made by Ricardo Zampieri at the session of 24 August.

The eventual approval of the referral does not represent a condemnation of Zampieri, but the continuation of the institutional analysis of the case. The available documentation also does not confirm the existence of the alleged irregularities mentioned during the parliamentary pronouncement, nor does it demonstrate that Gaeco is conducting a new investigation into the facts cited.

The decision on the possible referral to the Corregedoria will be up to the members of the Câmara Municipal on Monday (21).
