Dollar opens above R$ 5 on this Thursday and market awaits new Datafolha research

The commercial dollar started this Thursday (22) quoted above R$ 5. The day before, the U.S. currency closed up 0.17%, at R$ 5,0272, while the Ibovespa fell 0.86%, to 206,495 points.
This is a day of anticipation in the financial market. With the election race on the radar, investors are awaiting the new Datafolha survey that will be released today, on the presidential election between Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) and Lula (PT).
As yesterday, the focus is also related to corporate balance sheets and the movement of oil prices in the international market. In Wednesday’s session, the new Quaest poll also on the elections, resonated on the radar of the financial market.
