In the midst of the celebrations of the 203th anniversary of Ponta Grossa, marked by the theme "Route of the Trophies on the Tracks of Innovation", prefeita Elizabeth Schmidt gave an interview to the portal Boca no Trombone. A Life Dedicated to the Parade

The mayor did not hide the emotion when talking about her connection with the celebrations of the anniversary of the city. "I've been present at these parades for 75 years, since I was a baby, because my mother was already parading at the time," Elizabeth said, noting that she actively participated in the parades as a student, a university professor, and now as chief executive.

She fondly recalled the time when she was playing a recital in the fanfare of the Institute of Education and the difficulties faced on days of strong wind, when the skirts of the participants "turned headlong".
