Moro leads race for Paraná Governorship and Sandro Alex tries to convert Ratinho's support into votes, by Gleidson Carlos

The new round of the Paraná Pesquisas brings important data to understand the election for the Government of the Paraná.

Sérgio Moro appears with 44.7% of the voting intentions. Requião Filho has 23% and Sandro Alex, candidate supported by Ratinho Junior, reaches 19.7%.

Moro and Requião, together, concentrate 67.7% of the voting intentions. This shows a dispute strongly focused on candidates with very strong political identities. But there is another number that draws attention.

In the spontaneous poll, when the names of the candidates are not presented, 48.3% of the voters have not yet defined or declared their vote. And here is the central point about Sandro Alex.

Ratinho’s candidate needs to turn the governor’s political weight into a vote. It is not enough to have the support of Ratinho. This support must be effectively converted into votes for Sandro.

Ratinho has approval and a consolidated political structure in the State. Now the question is how much of this political force can be transferred to your candidate.

Because there is a difference between the strength of the supporter and the electoral strength of the supporter.

And it is precisely this conversion of support into vote that can determine the size of Sandro in the contest and the design of the election in the first round.
