Motorcyclist dies after crashing into rotary on BR-376 in Apucarana

A motorcyclist died on BR-376 after the motorcycle on which he was hitting a roundabout on the urban stretch of the highway, in Apucarana, north of Paraná. The accident occurred early Tuesday night on Minas Gerais Avenue, on the way out to Curitiba, and left a second person injured.

According to the information raised about the occurrence, the driver of a Honda CG 150 was following the stretch when, due to circumstances that will still be determined, he hit the structure of the roundabout. After the collision, the motorcyclist fell and suffered serious injuries.

Emergency teams were mobilized to provide care to the victims. The motorcyclist, however, did not resist the injuries and died at the scene of the accident.

The second victim was rescued

A second person involved in the incident was injured and received assistance from teams from the Integrated Trauma and Emergency Service (SIATE), the Fire Department, and the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU).

To date, no official information has been released about the health status of the rescued victim or to which hospital unit she was referred.

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) was also at the scene of the accident to conduct traffic orientation and ensure the safety of the other drivers who passed through the urban stretch of the BR-376.

The Scientific Police carried out expert

The Scientific Police were called to carry out the necessary forensic procedures and surveys at the place where the motorcyclist died on BR-376.

The work should help clarify the dynamics of the collision, including the circumstances that caused the motorcycle to hit the roundabout.

After the forensic work, the body of the victim was referred to legal procedures.

Until the publication of this article, the identity of the motorcyclist who died had not been officially disclosed.

The causes of the accident remain under investigation. Additional information may be disclosed by the responsible authorities after the completion of the surveys and the official identification of the victim.
