Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting the Back of a Truck in Jaguariaíva

An accident in Jaguariaíva ended with the death of a motorcyclist early on Saturday (26). The incident was recorded at around 3:24 a.m. in Rua Marechal Cândido Rondon, in the Primavera neighborhood, and involved a motorcycle and a parked wagon.

According to the information recorded in the attendance of the occurrence, emergency teams were triggered after the information that the driver of a motorcycle had been involved in a collision and would be in death at the site.

When the police team arrived at the address, professionals from the Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) already carried out the service. The doctor of the team confirmed the death of the motorcyclist still at the scene.

According to the record of the occurrence, the motorcycle was following down Marechal Cândido Rondon Street when it hit the rear of a trailer that was parked on the road.

Camera recorded the accident

Images of a security camera installed in a property near the site were checked during the service. As described in the bulletin, the motorcyclist was riding alone and straight down the street before the collision with the rear of the wagon.

According to the police record, no signs of braking were found on the stretch where the accident occurred in Jaguariaíva. The exact circumstances of the occurrence should be analysed by the responsible authorities.

After the confirmation of the death, the area was isolated to allow the work of the teams responsible for the forensics.

Scientific Police were at the scene.

The Scientific Police were also activated and carried out the necessary procedures at the site of the accident. After the forensic work, the body was collected for official procedures.

The motorcycle involved in the incident was sent to the Military Police yard. According to the report, there was no interest from the Civil Police in collecting the vehicle at that time.

The case was registered as a death and traffic accident care without indication of illegality in the initial registration.

The circumstances of the accident must be clarified from the information collected on site, from the expert work and from the images recorded by security cameras.

The incident mobilized security and emergency teams during the early hours of Saturday in the Primavera neighborhood, in Jaguariaíva, municipality of Campos Gerais.
