Motorcyclist loses control of the bike and falls on PR-466 in Pitanga
Fall of a motorcycle on PR-466 in Pitanga leaves 33-year-old passenger with minor injuries after accident on Tuesday (29)
A motorcycle crash on the PR-466 in Pitanga left a 33-year-old passenger with minor injuries on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred at km 283 of the highway, in the stretch between Pitanga and Boa Ventura do São Roque, and was attended by the Paraná Military Police team, through the Road Police Battalion (BPRv).
According to information raised at the scene, the Honda CG Star motorcycle, with plates from Pitanga (PR), was heading in the direction of Pitanga to Boa Ventura do São Roque when the driver lost control of the steering.
With the loss of stability, the vehicle ended up suffering a crash on the track. The driver of the motorcycle, a 36-year-old man, had no injuries. The passenger, 33 years old, suffered minor injuries and needed to be referred to medical care at the Hospital of Pitanga.
The service was registered as a traffic accident with a victim with minor injuries. According to the data passed on by the team responsible for the occurrence, there was no record of serious injuries among those involved.
The motorcycle crash occurred during the morning, around 9 am, on a stretch of the state highway that connects the municipalities of Pitanga and Boa Ventura do São Roque.
The circumstances that led the motorcyclist to lose control of the vehicle will be evaluated according to the procedures for attending to the occurrence. The guidance of the authorities is that drivers and motorcyclists redouble their attention during the movement on the highways, especially in sections of greater circulation or that may present changes in the conditions of the track.
Accidents involving motorcycles are among the occurrences that require greater care due to the exposure of the occupants. The correct use of safety equipment, such as a properly fitted helmet, is essential to reduce risks in the event of a fall.
The Military Police of Paraná, through the road teams, carried out the attendance of the occurrence and recorded the information about the accident.
