Palmeira hosts AMCG Futsal Challenge with teams from seven cities this Saturday
AMCG Futsal Challenge in Palmeira brings together teams from seven municipalities this Saturday (10), with free games in the youth categories.
The AMCG Futsal Challenge in Palmeira will move the Campos Gerais base sport on Saturday (10). The new stage of the competition promoted by the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), through AMCG Esportes, will bring together athletes from seven municipalities and will have games throughout the day.
The program starts at 9am, with free admission to the public. Participate in the stage teams of Ponta Grossa, Porto Amazonas, Tibagi, Palmeira, Reserva, Ipiranga and Castro.
Three categories come into play
The contests will be held in the Men's Under-13, Men's Under-15 and Women's Under-13 categories. The schedule includes confrontations of the qualifying phase, in addition to the semi-finals and finals.
The matches will be held in two sports areas in Palmeira: the Sebastião Amancio dos Santos Gymnasium and the Ginasinho Gymnasium, located adjacent to the main gym.
The games follow throughout Saturday, with the decisions of the three categories scheduled for the afternoon period.
Integration between municipalities of the Campos Gerais
In addition to the contest for results, the AMCG Challenge of Futsal aims to encourage the practice of sports among children and adolescents and to expand the integration between the municipalities that make up the region of Campos Gerais.
The competition also allows young athletes to have contact with regional matches and different opponents, contributing to technical development and sports training.
The presence of teams from seven cities at this stage further reinforces AMCG Esportes’ proposal to stimulate grassroots sports and expand the exchange between municipal sports projects.
Games have free entry
The population of Palmeira and the participating municipalities will be able to follow the entire program free of charge.
