PG 203 anos: Bulek Contabilidade builds history between generations, innovation and tradition

The history of Bulek Intelligent Accounting began long before its current name. She was born to our father, João Oswaldo Bulek, who graduated as a technician from the Industrial College Presidente Kennedy, in 1969. While still young, he began his professional career working as a freelancer in an adapted room in his own home, where he began to build experience, knowledge and, above all, the values that would mark his entire career.

In 1981, alongside his brother, he began a new professional stage with the constitution of a company of his own. It was also in this period that accounting became part of our family history in an even deeper way, creating the basis for what would be built for the following generations.

In the 1990s, we, your children, started our career in the office as apprentices. Before occupying any management position, we went through different sectors and learned the profession in practice, knowing closely the processes, the challenges and, above all, the responsibility to take care of the companies and the stories built by each client.

In the early 2000s, we completed our academic training at Ponta Grossa State University (UEPG), taking with us not only the knowledge acquired at the university, but also an experience built from the early years of our professional life.

In 2009, we three brothers formed a new company, starting the current phase of the company. We brought with us our father, a consolidated portfolio of customers and, above all, a history built over decades. From that moment, we took on the challenge of preserving what had been built and, at the same time, preparing the company for a new time.

Over the last 17 years, we have sought to combine tradition and innovation. We continuously invest in knowledge, technology, processes and new forms of relationship with our customers.

This transformation led us to the construction of Bulek Intelligent Accounting, which today presents itself as a Hub of Solutions, integrating accounting, technology, specialized services and strategic partners.

This transformation, however, never meant abandoning our origins, on the contrary, the construction of our own headquarters, recently completed in the same place where our business history began in 1981, symbolically represents this meeting between past, present and future, we preserve what has always been essential for our family: trust, proximity, responsibility and personal relationship. At the same time, we incorporate digital tools that allow us to work more efficiently, productively and connected to our customers’ businesses.

Today, our vision for the future is already being built in the present. Accounting is increasingly no longer just an operational activity and is now exercising an advisory, strategic and, above all, educational function. We want to contribute to the development of our clients through the culture of entrepreneurship, helping entrepreneurs to better understand their numbers, make decisions and build more sustainable businesses. Likewise, we understand that there is an opportunity to share knowledge with other accounting professionals. For this reason, our planning for the coming years contemplates continuing education, digital content, training, mentoring and new business models that can take our experience beyond the borders of the office.

We believe that technology does not replace the accountant.

It transforms the way the accountant works. Digital tools allow us to automate processes, increase productivity, reduce repetitive tasks and, most importantly, devote more time to what really matters: understanding the business, guiding the entrepreneur and building trusting relationships.

After more than five decades since the beginning of our father’s professional trajectory, more than four decades since the first family society and 17 years since the formation of the current society between the three brothers, we continue to look to the future with the same spirit that has brought us here.

Our story was built by one generation, transformed by the next, and now begins to be prepared for the next.

More than preserving a company, we want to preserve a legacy: a commitment to the profession, to people, to our customers and to the ability to learn, innovate and evolve continuously.
