Comet Group in Ponta Grossa gathers more than 70 years of history, expansion, innovation and industrial services with operations beyond the borders of Paraná
There are companies that are settling in a city. Others help build her story. The Comet Group belongs to this second group.
It is more than seven decades of a trajectory started in Ponta Grossa and built with work, technical knowledge and ability to follow the transformations of a city that has ceased to be just an important regional junction to consolidate itself as one of the major industrial and logistical poles of Paraná.
The old Eletro Cometa grew, diversified its activities and evolved to become the current Grupo Cometa. A change that represents more than a new name: it translates the dimension reached by a company from Punta Grossa that today performs services in different parts of Latin America and is the only one of the Paraná to serve the entire WEG Group.
The present confirms this vocation to grow. An investment of approximately R$ 20 million marked a new stage of the company, with business expansion and a new headquarters in Ponta Grossa, in Rua Capanema, with about 5,000 square meters of built area. Structure prepared for large equipment, technology, new challenges and to sustain the next chapters of this history.
But a company does not grow only in square meters, machines or numbers. He grows up with the people he meets along the way. Throughout its trajectory, the Cometa Group has helped to train professionals, moved suppliers, generated opportunities and made the knowledge developed in Ponta Grossa a reference that goes beyond the borders of the city.
