Ponta Grossa Municipality Conducts Educational Blitz on Use of Autopropelidos

The Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Citizenship and Public Security, promotes this Monday (21) an educational blitz aimed at the use of self-propelled equipment in the municipality. The activity is part of the programming of the National Traffic Week and aims to guide the population on the safe use of these vehicles.

The action will be held from 11:30 a.m., at 123 Balduíno Taques Street, with the participation of the teams responsible for guiding users. During the approach, information on traffic care, traffic rules and the importance of respect for other road users will be passed on.

Self-propelled equipment, such as electric scooters and other vehicles for individual mobility, have gained space as an alternative to travel in cities. However, the use of these means requires attention to avoid accidents and ensure safe coexistence between pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

The blitz is part of the actions of the National Traffic Week, a period dedicated to raising awareness and promoting safer attitudes in traffic throughout the country.

The City Council reinforces that educational actions are fundamental to encourage the responsibility of users and contribute to a more organized and safer transit in Ponta Grossa.
