Procon of PG changes address and suspends service for a week
The agency will be closed to the public from September 24 to 30 to carry out the move. Service will resume in October at a new location in the city center
The Procon of Ponta Grossa will change its address and temporarily suspend the face-to-face service to the public from this Thursday (24). The interruption of services will occur until September 30, the period necessary for the transfer of the organ to a new headquarters, located in the central region of the city.
Currently installed in Rua Balduíno Taques, no 445, on the second floor, the Procon will start operating in Rua do Rosário, no 1258, at Ponta Grossa. The change was made official through Ordinance no 002/2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality on Wednesday (23). The document establishes the suspension of the administrative procedures and deadlines during the transfer period.
When will the care be resumed?
According to the ordinance, the attendance to the public will be suspended between September 24 and 30. The forecast is to resume services on October 1, already at the new address.
During this period, consumers who need to resolve issues in person with Procon should wait for the reopening of the unit.
The agency also said the deadlines for ongoing administrative proceedings will be suspended during the change. The count will be resumed on October 1, guaranteeing the parties involved the remaining period at the time of the suspension.

The measure seeks to preserve the rights of consumers and other parties involved in administrative procedures.
Scheduled hearings will be held
Despite the temporary suspension of attendance, Procon reported that hearings previously scheduled for September 24 and 25 will be maintained. Another exception provided for in the ordinance concerns the demonstrations carried out by the Proconsumer system, which will continue to be available because it is an online service.
The suspension of the deadlines also does not affect the demonstrations carried out through this platform.

The Ordinance no 002/2026 was signed by the executive coordinator of Procon of Ponta Grossa, Naim Nasihgil Filho, and published on page 156 of the edition no 4700 of the Official Journal of the Municipality, on Wednesday (23).
