Sicredi brought together more than 300 education professionals at Ponta Grossa during the Education Summit 2026, an event dedicated to exchanging experiences, strengthening cooperativism and discussing initiatives capable of transforming the school environment. The meeting was attended by managers, teachers, pedagogues, directors and representatives of the school community of 18 municipalities of Paraná and São Paulo.

Promoted by Sicredi Campos Gerais, Grande Curitiba, Vale do Ribeira and Força dos Ventos PR/SP, the Summit had as its proposal to expand the dialogue on the challenges of education and to value the role of professionals who act directly in the training of children and adolescents.

The programming provided moments of learning, reflection and sharing of good practices, bringing educators from different regions closer and encouraging the construction of more collaborative and future-ready communities.

Education and cooperativism as instruments of transformation

For the president of the cooperative, Marcio Zwierewicz, investing in education means contributing directly to the development of communities and to the construction of a more conscious and participatory society.

“We believe that education has the power to transform realities and build a more prosperous future for all. By bringing together professionals committed to the development of children, we strengthen our purpose to contribute to communities that are increasingly aware, collaborative and prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.”

The executive director of the cooperative, Leila Rejeane Dobis Grik, also stressed that the rapprochement between educational institutions and cooperativism broadens the possibilities of social transformation.

"Each educator present represents an opportunity to impact lives and disseminate cooperation, protagonism and citizenship. When we walk together, we amplify our ability to transform realities through education,” he said.

Sicredi Programs Strengthen Education in Schools

In addition to promoting integration among professionals, the Education Summit 2026 gave visibility to projects developed by Sicredi that stimulate values such as cooperation, responsibility, citizenship and financial education.

Among the initiatives are the Union Makes Life Program, aimed at the formation of cooperative citizens; School Cooperatives, which encourage the protagonism of students and collective learning; and Finance in the Backpack, which works concepts of financial education.

These actions are part of the cooperative’s strategy to support the educational and social development of the regions where it operates, bringing schools, families and communities closer together.

The participation of representatives of 18 municipalities also allowed to broaden the exchange of experiences between different educational networks, strengthening the collaboration between educators and encouraging the application of innovative practices in schools.

Sicredi broadens its role in community development

The Summit held at Ponta Grossa reinforces Sicredi’s presence in actions that go beyond financial services, including projects related to education and regional development.

The Sicredi Campos Gerais, Grande Curitiba, Vale do Ribeira and Força dos Ventos PR/SP is part of the Sicredi System, a cooperative financial institution that brings together more than 10 million members throughout Brazil.

With presence in 26 states and the Federal District, the system has more than 3,000 agencies and approximately 50,000 employees.

By encouraging the training of educators and the dissemination of cooperative values, the institution seeks to strengthen community bonds and contribute to the formation of the next generations.
