State Allocates R$ 5.7 Million for New School in Ponta Grossa

The construction of a new unit of the State College Iolando Taques da Fonseca, in Ponta Grossa, received a budgetary reinforcement of R$ 5,769,882.00 from the Government of Paraná. The measure was made official by Decree No. 15.646, published in the Wednesday (4) edition of the Official State Gazette.

The document establishes the opening of supplementary credit in the state budget, with specific use for the construction of the school unit. The resources are linked to the Paranaense Institute of Educational Development (Fondepar), responsible for infrastructure actions of the state public network.

The initiative is part of the program of supply management, logistics and school infrastructure, which includes investments in construction, modernization and improvement of spaces used by students and education professionals.

The decree also introduces changes in the distribution of resources foreseen for the Secretariat of State for Education. The value of R$ 5.7 million appears as a supplement for the new unit, accompanied by a budget reduction of the same amount in another action related to the management of school units.

The publication represents an important administrative stage for the financial programming of the enterprise. However, the budgetary authorization does not necessarily mean that the value has already been used or that the construction is in progress.

To confirm the current stage of the project, it is still necessary to verify whether there is a tendering procedure completed, a contract signed and a service order issued.
