TSE judges Deltan case this Friday; Will Curi be declared elected?
TSE judges on Friday the registration of Deltan Dallagnol; decision may change the contest for the second Senate seat in Paraná.

On Thursday, the TSE judges Deltan Dallagnol’s application registration. It is a decision of the ministers can directly mess with the second seat of the Senate.
Deltan received more than 2.9 million votes and finished second. Filipe Barros was the first place, with about 3.1 million. And Alexandre Curi finished third, with approximately 1.9 million votes.
If TSE maintains Deltan's registration denial and that decision becomes final, its votes may no longer be considered valid. And the Justiça Eleitoral will have to redo the math of the election.
This is where Alexandre Curi enters this equation. But beware: this does not mean that Curi will automatically be declared a senator. The consequence will depend on the court decision and the new totalization of votes. This story can still reach the Supremo Tribunal Federal.
Not as an automatic fourth instance, but if there is a constitutional issue that allows the action of the STF. In other words, an election that seemed definite can still produce a legal turnaround.
