The 17-year-old Kawwan Cassiano dos Santos, who was missing in Ponta Grossa, was found on Friday after a reader of BnT Online recognized the young man after seeing the story published by the portal. The family was notified and moved to pick him up.

Earlier, the BnT had released the appeal of the relatives, who had been looking for Kawwan since September 26 and came to offer a reward of R $ 500 for information that would lead to his whereabouts. According to the police record, the teenager had left the residence where he lived, in the Garden Gralha Azul, and had not returned.

Reader saw BnT news and recognized teenager

Who found Kawwan was José, a street vendor who works in the terminal and follows the news of the BnT. In a video recorded after locating the teenager, he said he saw the publication during work and decided to personally check if the young man he had found was the same one sought by the family.

“I saw this post, I was at work. I even had to come here to make sure it was the young man. I found him,” he said.

José also explained that he often helps when he sees families looking for missing persons.

“Whenever I see a desperate family looking for a missing child, I help, from the heart. - Why, why? Because I am a father,” he said.

Teenager says he wasn’t lost

In the same video recorded by the reader, Kawwan appears next to José and claims that he had left the house after family disagreements.

“I am not lost. I only fought and left the house because I kept fighting too much with my mom,” said the teenager.

The information was immediately passed on to relatives, who contacted and went to the site to pick him up.

Reader refused reward

Even with the family having released a reward of R $ 500, José made sure to state that he did not want to receive any value for the location of the adolescent.

“I don’t want a penny, okay, family? I don't want a penny. I just played my role as a father,” he said.

The initial publication of the BnT reported that Kawwan had been last seen in the Contour region and was without a mobile phone, which made it difficult for the family to contact the teenager. The disappearance had been registered with the Civil Police on October 1.

With the location of the young man on Friday, the mobilization started by the family and expanded with the disclosure of the news ended with Kawwan found and in contact again with the relatives.
