PM arrests suspect after report of abuse against teenager in Ponta Grossa
Sexual abuse of a vulnerable person in Ponta Grossa: suspect was arrested after a 13-year-old teenager reported the abuse that occurred in the Contorno area.
A case of rape of a vulnerable in Ponta Grossa ended with the arrest of a suspect in the early hours of Sunday (11), in the region of Contorno. According to information recorded by the Military Police, a 13-year-old girl reported to the family that she had been abused during the afternoon of Saturday.
According to the record of the occurrence, the Military Police were activated by relatives of the teenager around 0:15. The victim said she had participated in a child day-related activity at a church near her residence and was subsequently invited by the suspect to go to his home.
According to the report presented to the police, already at the residence, the man had made sexual comments and touched the body of the teenager without consent. The young woman managed to leave the property and, hours later, she reported what happened to the relatives.
The family called the police.
After learning of the situation, the family called the military police. During the treatment, the teenager also reported that two friends had been through similar situations involving the same man.
According to the police record, a family member who was accompanying the care told the officers that she had also been the victim of the suspect about five years ago, but that she had never told the family about the episode.
The police picked up the information and went to the address indicated by the teenager.
Suspect was located and referred to the police station
The man indicated in the report was located by the police team. Given the information presented by the victims, he received a voice of imprisonment and was referred to the 4th Regional Flagrants Center of Ponta Grossa.
The case of rape of a vulnerable in Ponta Grossa should continue for investigation by the competent authorities, including in relation to reports of possible other victims.
