Time Capsule Marks 25 Years of Carambeí Historical Park

The Carambeí Historical Park Association celebrated 25 years of history in Carambeí, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, with the launch of a Time Capsule that will gather messages and records of the institution’s trajectory until its scheduled opening in 2036.

The action marked the beginning of the celebrations of the Silver Weddings of the association, created with the mission of preserving the memory of Dutch immigration and valuing the cultural heritage of the municipality. The official anniversary of the institution was celebrated on September 21.

During the special programming, guests participated in the sealing moment of the capsule, which will be opened in ten years, when the Museu Parque Histórico de Carambeí is celebrating 35 years of acting.

The proposal was to record the current period of the institution through messages written by people who are part of the history of the space, including collaborators, partners and members who followed different moments of the museum’s trajectory.

Participants were invited to reflect on the achievements achieved over the 25 years of the Historical Park Association of Carambeí, in addition to the challenges faced to keep alive the preservation of the culture and memory of Dutch immigration in the region.

The messages stored in the capsule represent a connection between past, present and future. When the material is opened in 2036, participants will be able to revisit thoughts, expectations and records made during the 25-year anniversary, comparing the transformations that have occurred over the decade.

The Historical Park Association of Carambeí has an important role in the historical preservation of the municipality and in the dissemination of the culture of Dutch immigrants who contributed to the formation of the local community. The Museu Parque Histórico de Carambeí welcomes visitors interested in learning about the architecture, customs, gastronomy and traditions preserved by the space.

Dinner celebrates 25 years of the institution

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Historical Park Association of Carambeí will continue on October 23, at 8 pm, with a special dinner held at the Koffiehuis Confectionery and Restaurant of Museu Parque Histórico de Carambeí.

The meeting will bring together friends, partners, collaborators and people who have participated in the construction of the history of the institution over the last decades.

The dinner will be held in the membership format, with an investment of R$ 80 per person. Bookings must be made directly with Koffiehuis.
