Vereador Deleon Betim is elected president of Carambeí Chamber for 2027/2028

The Councilor Professor Deleon Betim (MDB) was elected, on Tuesday (6), Mayor of Carambeí for the biennium 2027/2028. The election took place during an ordinary session held in the plenary of the municipal legislature, and the parliamentary-led panel received seven votes against four from the opposing panel.

With the result, Deleon Betim will officially take command of the Câmara Municipal from January 2027. He will be responsible for the conduct of the legislative and administrative work of the House during the two years of the next biennium.

The election also defined the other members of the Board of Directors who will lead the Legislative of Carambeí in the period.

New Director of Carambeí

The winning plate was defined as follows:

President: Professor Deleon Betim (MDB);

Vice-President: André Petter (PSD);

1st secretary: Professor Sandro Marcelo de Oliveira (PSD);

2nd secretary: Cleverson de Oliveira Santos (MDB).

Deleon Betim's slate won seven of the 11 votes recorded in the election held on Tuesday.

In addition to the winning composition, a second panel participated in the contest for the Board of Directors.

The opponent received four votes.

The other composition was led by the councilor Sérgio Luis de Oliveira (PSD), candidate for the Presidency of the House. Diego Silva (PP) was vying for vice-president, while Eclaiton Moreira Bueno (União) was vying for the 1st Secretary and Ilson Caninana (PL) was vying for the 2nd Secretary.

The board received four votes, lagging behind the composition led by Deleon Betim.

With the election completed, Câmara Municipal has already defined in advance who will be at the forefront of the Carambeí Legislative during the years 2027 and 2028.

New command starts in January

As mayor of Carambeí, Deleon Betim will have among his responsibilities the conduct of plenary sessions, the organization of legislative work and the administration of the structure of Câmara Municipal.

The Executive Board also plays an important role in defining the internal activities of the Legislative, in addition to accompanying administrative procedures and institutionally representing the House.

Currently, the Presidency of the House is occupied by Eclaiton Moreira Bueno. The Board of Directors also has Ilson Caninana in the Vice-Presidency, Professor Deleon Betim in the 1st Secretariat and Joel da Costa Rosa, known as Joel Sacolinha, in the 2nd Secretariat.

The current composition remains in charge until the end of 2026. From January 2027, the new Board of Directors officially assumes the functions and remains at the head of the Câmara Municipal de Carambeí until the closure of the 2027/2028 biennium.
