Young Man Injured After Colliding Car With Tractor Trailer On BR-376
A 25-year-old young man suffered injuries to one of his legs, was rescued and taken to a Hospital.
An accident on Sunday night left a 25-year-old injured, at kilometer 294 of BR-376, in Mauá da Serra, in the southern direction.
According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), there was an obstruction on the road that caused retention and congestion formation on the stretch. Despite the guidance and monitoring carried out by the dealership responsible for the highway, the Montana driver did not realize in time the reduction in traffic speed and collided in the rear of a cargo vehicle. The accident occurred on a straight stretch, with good visibility conditions.
The Montana driver suffered injuries to one leg and was rescued and referred to the Providence Hospital in Apucarana for medical attention.
The PRF reinforces the importance for drivers to maintain constant attention to traffic, to respect the signage and to maintain safety distance from the vehicle in front, especially in sections with congestion or vehicle retention.
