Mabel and Jocelito Canto conclude campaign in Ponta Grossa and the Campos Gerais
Candidates from PP highlight meetings with residents and present priorities for the Legislative Assembly and the Chamber of Deputies

Mabel Canto and the candidate for federal deputy Jocelito Canto, both of Progressives (PP), end the electoral campaign with agendas in Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais. Throughout the period, the candidates participated in carriages, meetings, visits and walks to present proposals and listen to the demands of the population.
According to the candidates, direct contact with residents was one of the main strategies of the campaign. Father and daughter were together in different engagements, which included conversations with traders, workers, leaders and representatives of sectors of society. In the final straight before the vote on Sunday (4), Mabel highlighted the reception during the visits to the municipalities.

“It was a very beautiful campaign, done close to the people, looking in the eye and hearing what every city needs. We get a lot of affection from where we go and that gives us even more energy,” he said. The deputy also thanked the people who participated in the meetings and followed the activities during the electoral period.
Mabel sets priorities for new term
Candidate for re-election to the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (Aleppo), Mabel used the agendas to present actions of the mandate and discuss demands for the coming years. Among the areas identified as priority are the defense of women’s rights, health, education, sport and social assistance. Meetings in municipalities were also used to listen to local needs and discuss proposals related to these sectors.
Jocelito defends regional representation in Brasilia
In the contest for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies, Jocelito Canto highlighted the intention to expand the representation of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais in Brasilia. During the campaign, the candidate also presented his political trajectory and his relationship with the region. “To go through the Campos Gerais is to find people who work hard and want to be heard. It was many miles, many conversations and a affection that we will take with us,” he said.
Jocelito said that the presence in the streets reflects his way of conducting political activity, with proximity and dialogue with the residents. When evaluating the campaign, the two said they had prioritized the submission of proposals. Mabel said she did not attack opponents, although she said she was the target of attacks. Jocelito also classified the campaign as clean. On Sunday, the candidates said they were calm and hopeful.
