Marcos Rogério is elected governor of Rondônia in the first round
PL candidate obtained XX% of valid votes, according to TSE

Marcos Rogério (PL) was elected governor of Rondônia on Sunday (4), in the first round of the 2026 elections. The candidate obtained 57.02% of the valid votes, the equivalent of 509.168 votes, according to data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
By 7:15 p.m., 94.68% of the ballot boxes had been totaled in the state. With this result, the candidate is mathematically elected.
Marcos Rogério was ahead of Adailton Furia (PSD), who received 19.31% of the vote.

Election to governor is defined in the first round when a nomination gets more than half of the valid votes. With the result, there will be no second round for the government of Rondônia.
Who is the new governor
Marcos Rogério was councilman of Ji-Paraná and federal deputy for two terms. He has been a senator for Rondônia since 2019 and has already disputed the state government in 2022, when he reached the second round. In 2026, he will run again for office.
The vote for governor took place simultaneously with the election for president, senator and federal, state or district deputies (in the case of the Federal District).
