Adolescent is stopped and GCM finds 1.5 kg of marijuana in PG residence

An occurrence of drug trafficking in Colonia Dona Luiza, in Ponta Grossa, ended with the seizure of approximately 1.5 kg of marijuana and the arrest of a suspect on Saturday (26). The action was carried out by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), through the GETAM team.

According to information provided by the corporation, the agents were patrolling the region when they saw a teenager running out of a residence with a transparent plastic wrapper on his hands.

When the team approached, the young man would have dropped the object on the floor. During the verification, the agents found that the material had characteristics similar to those of marijuana. After weighing, the portion totaled 27 grams.

Teenager reportedly searched for drugs in residence

Given the situation, the adolescent was approached and questioned about the origin of the narcotic.

According to the report recorded by the Municipal Civil Guard, he reported that he had just removed the drug from a residence and that he should deliver it to a third person. The teenager, however, would not have informed the identification or the location of the alleged recipient.

The GETAM team then went to the property indicated by the young man and spoke with the resident.

According to the GCM, the man confirmed that he had delivered the substance to the teenager. When questioned by agents about the existence of other narcotics inside the house, he reported that there were more drugs in the property and voluntarily authorized the entry of the staff.

GCM finds tablets and portions of marijuana

As the incident occurred, the resident led the guards to one of the rooms of the residence. Inside a wardrobe, he would have pulled out a black bag.

Inside the bag, the agents found two tablets of substance with characteristics similar to those of marijuana, in addition to eight envelopes containing material similar to that initially seized with the adolescent.

A precision scale was also located during the action. Two cell phones were seized by the officers.

After weighing, the drug found inside the residence totaled approximately 1.5 kg of marijuana.

In the face of the situation related to drug trafficking, the Municipal Civil Guard gave voice of arrest to the resident. According to the corporation, there was no need for the use of handcuffs during the referral.

The teenager, the man arrested, the narcotics and the other seized objects were taken to the Police Station of Ponta Grossa.

The case was under the responsibility of the police authority, which should carry out the appropriate procedures and determine the circumstances of the occurrence.
