Man stabbed in Ponta Grossa was lured to a meeting and suffered injuries to his neck, head, back and hands. Two siblings were detained.
A man stabbed in Ponta Grossa was rescued on Saturday night (26), after being drawn to a meeting and, according to the Military Police, assaulted by two brothers in the Dona Luiza neighborhood, region of Vila DER. The victim, 29, suffered injuries in different parts of the body and was referred to the Regional Hospital.
The incident was recorded at around 8:56 p.m. in Rua Doutor João Alves Pereira. According to the information passed on by the Military Police, a team was activated to initially attend a situation of bodily injury.
The victim reported being drawn to the meeting.
At the scene, police spoke with the 29-year-old. According to the report presented to the team, he was attracted to a meeting and subsequently assaulted by two men.
The suspects were brothers, aged 26 and 18. During the assault, according to the report recorded by the Military Police, one of them allegedly used a knife against the victim.
The man suffered injuries to the neck, head, back and hands. The exact severity of the injuries was not detailed in the police record released so far.
The victim was taken to the regional hospital.
The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was activated and provided care to the man stabbed in Ponta Grossa. After the first procedures, the victim was referred to the Regional Hospital for evaluation and medical care.
There was no update on the health status of the man after entering the hospital unit.
Two brothers were located.
After attending the occurrence, police teams initiated diligences to locate those involved. The action also counted on the support of the P2, intelligence sector of the Military Police.
The two brothers identified as being involved in the assault were found during the search. They were referred to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP) of Ponta Grossa for appropriate procedures.
The case must be analyzed by the Civil Police, which can ascertain the circumstances of the aggression, the motivation of the meeting and the participation of each of the involved.
So far, the military police have not released any other details about what would have motivated the attacks or what the relationship would be between the victim and the suspects.
