Boat capsizes and one person goes missing in PG; Firefighters called in

The Fire Department was activated on the afternoon of Tuesday (8) to attend an incident involving the disappearance of a person at Rio Tibagi, near the bridge of BR-373, at Ponta Grossa. According to preliminary information obtained by the BnT Online team, a boat with two people would have turned while sailing the river.

After the accident, one of the people on the boat was able to get out of the water. The second person, however, had not been located until the last update, which motivated the rescue teams to activate. The firefighters traveled to the region to begin the service and search for the missing person.

So far, there is no official information about the circumstances that caused the accident, the identity of those involved or the health of the person who managed to leave the water.
