Fire hits wooden house in Dona Luiza Colony, in Ponta Grossa
Fire in Dona Luiza Colony hit a wooden house in Ponta Grossa. The fire was controlled and there were no casualties.

A fire struck a wooden residence in the Vila Sabina region, in Colonia Dona Luiza, on the banks of BR-376, in Ponta Grossa. The incident mobilized residents, teams of the Fire Department and the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM).
According to local information, the flames started in a wooden house and spread quickly. Before the arrival of firefighters, residents of the area mobilized to try to contain the fire and prevent the fire from reaching other nearby points.
A team from the Municipal Civil Guard was also on the scene and assisted during the incident. With the arrival of the Fire Department, the flames were controlled.
There was no record of victims.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
The cause of the fire has not yet been officially determined. According to reports from residents, the residence did not have electricity, which practically rule out, in principle, an occurrence related to the electrical installation.
People also reported that the resident of the residence was a drug user and was not in the property at the time of the fire. Among the possibilities mentioned by the residents are a candle or a cigarette that could have remained lit.
These hypotheses, however, were not officially confirmed by the authorities responsible for attending to the occurrence.
After the work of the teams, the fire was controlled and the site remained safe. The circumstances that caused the start of the flames should be clarified from the evaluation carried out in the property.
