Man with an electronic ankle bracelet found dead inside a house in Tibagi

A man was found dead inside a residence in the central region of Tibagi, in the Campos Gerais do Paraná. The victim, identified as Cláudio José Castanho, was wearing ankle brace. The case mobilized teams from the Military Police, the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU), the Civil Police and the Scientific Police.

The occurrence was recorded in a property located in Rua Vereador João Taques Martins. According to initial information, the man lived on the same land as his brother, but the two occupied separate spaces.

According to reports, the last contact between the brothers had taken place on Sunday. Later, Cláudio was located without signs of life, which motivated the emergency teams to activate.

Security and rescue teams responded to the incident.

The military police were called to the address and found the man already dead. SAMU professionals also attended the residence and confirmed the death after the evaluation of the victim.

With the confirmation of the death, the Civil Police of Tibagi was notified and followed the procedures carried out in the property.

A team of the Scientific Police, displaced from Telêmaco Borba, carried out the necessary forensic surveys and arranged for the body to be collected for the appropriate examinations.

The cause of death will be investigated

So far, no conclusive information has been released about what caused the death of Cláudio José Castanho. The use of anklet was mentioned in the record of the occurrence, but there is no information that relates the monitoring to the circumstances of the death.
