The Association of Parents and Friends of the Visually Impaired (APADEVI), of Ponta Grossa, is able to receive R$ 100,000 in resources coming from a parliamentary amendment intended by the state deputy Marcelo Rangel (PSD). The value must contribute to the strengthening of the activities developed by the entity, which provides care to people with visual impairment in the municipality.
The confirmation was carried out by the State Secretariat for Social Development and Family (SEDEF), through the office of the secretary Rogério Carboni. According to the folder, the documentation relating to the Parliamentary Amendment No. 2496 was enabled, allowing the advancement of the procedures necessary for the effective payment.
With the authorization, the institution begins to fulfill an important step for the receipt of the appeal. However, confirmation does not mean that the money has already been deposited into the entity’s account.
Resources strengthen care for visually impaired people
APADEVI plays an important role in assisting and supporting visually impaired people in Ponta Grossa. The institution develops activities aimed at the inclusion and improvement of the quality of life of its patients.
The investment of R$ 100 thousand seeks to contribute to the continuity of the services offered by the association, strengthening the assistance work carried out in the municipality.

The resource for APADEVI is part of a set of approximately R$ 2 million in parliamentary amendments indicated by Marcelo Rangel for welfare institutions in the Campos Gerais region.
The destinations aim to support entities that develop social work and expand the conditions of attendance to the population.
The expectation is that, after the completion of the administrative procedures, the value will be effectively passed on to the APADEVI of Ponta Grossa.
