Those wishing to gain the first job, improve the curriculum or develop new professional skills will have a free opportunity at Ponta Grossa. The Professional Qualification Week 2026 will be held on November 10 and 11, at the Hub Station, with lectures, practical workshops and orientations aimed at preparing for the labor market.
Promoted by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Professional Qualification, the event will have programming from 8 am to 12 am, in addition to practical activities at specific times. Participation is free, but requires early registration via the internet.
The initiative aims to bring workers, students and people closer in search of new opportunities to the current demands of companies. Topics covered include artificial intelligence, professions of the future, first job, curriculum development, LinkedIn use, job interviews, and financial education.
Lectures will address employment, technology and career
On the first day, Tuesday (10), participants will have access to content on human skills, professions of the future, creativity and applications of artificial intelligence in the professional environment. There will also be guidelines aimed at those who are looking for the first job opportunity.
Already on Wednesday (11), the programming will be focused on preparing for selective processes, with tips on curriculum and interviews, as well as lectures on financial organization, organizational culture, expectations of companies and labor rights.
Municipal Secretary for Industry, Trade and Professional Qualification and President of the Agency for Innovation and Development, Tônia Mansani, highlights that qualification is essential to keep up with changes in the world of work.
“Professional qualification is critical to expanding opportunities and preparing people for the challenges of the market. We want to offer practical knowledge, bring the population closer to institutions and companies, and help more people be prepared to win a job or advance their careers,” he says.
Practical workshops will have limited vacancies
In addition to the lectures, the event will offer activities that allow participants to develop skills in a practical way.
The Belgotex workshop will be held on November 10 and 11, with 15 places available each afternoon, totaling 30 participants.
Another attraction will be the coffee workshop, scheduled for Wednesday (11), at the Hub Station. The activity will have capacity for 25 people.
