Collision between a truck and Hilux leaves driver injured on PR-151 in Castro
Accident on PR-151 in Castro leaves driver injured after collision between truck and pickup truck on Saturday night (11).

An accident on the PR-151 in Castro left a driver injured on Friday night, following a collision involving a wagon and a pickup truck on the stretch between Castro and Carambeí. The case was registered at around 7:05 p.m., at km 292+950 of the state highway.
According to information from the Road Police Battalion (BPRv), through the 5th Company and the Piraí do Sul Road Post, the accident involved four vehicles: a Scania 440 wagon, two semi-trailers and a Toyota Hilux with Castro plates.
According to the data collected at the site, the wagon, accompanied by the two semi-trailers, was traveling along the PR-151 in the Castro–Carambeí direction when a cross-over accident occurred with the Toyota Hilux truck, which also went in the same direction.
The driver of the truck, a 49-year-old man, was not injured. The driver of the truck, 31, suffered moderate injuries and received care from an EPR ambulance team, being referred to the Castro Pronto Atendimento Unit (UPA).
The accident on PR-151 in Castro mobilized care and security teams for the necessary procedures on site. So far, no information has been released about the circumstances that led to the collision.
The PR-151 is one of the main road links of the Campos Gerais, connecting municipalities such as Castro, Carambeí and Ponta Grossa, in addition to being used daily by cargo transport vehicles and residents of the region.
