Woman reports death threat during domestic violence case in Ponta Grossa
Woman faces threat against a woman in Ponta Grossa during a domestic violence incident in the Oficinas neighborhood; the case was forwarded to the police station.

An incident of threat against women in Ponta Grossa mobilized police teams during the early hours of Saturday (12), in the Oficinas neighborhood. According to information recorded by the Military Police, a 29-year-old woman reported having been threatened with death by her 32-year-old partner during a situation of domestic and family violence.
The police team was called at around 2:23 a.m. to respond to the complaint in a residence located on Antonia Buturi Nekatschalon Street. According to the victim’s report, the man would have arrived at the property drunk and presented aggressive behavior.
According to the record of the occurrence, the companion began to reproduce sound at high volume inside the residence. The woman asked that the volume be reduced, mainly because the couple has two children, aged 2 and 9, and one of the children has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and has sensitivity to excessive noises.
After the request, as informed by the victim to the police, the man would have started an argument, starting to utter insults and offensive words against her. During the situation, he would also have made death threats.
The occurrence was recorded as a threat against women in Ponta Grossa, within the context of cases of domestic and family violence against women. The Brazilian legislation provides for specific protection measures and referrals for situations involving psychological violence, threats and aggressions within the family environment.
After the police service, the parties involved were referred to the Police Station of Ponta Grossa, where they were presented to the police authority responsible for the appropriate measures.
Cases of domestic violence can be reported by the official service channels. The Women’s Service Center operates on the 180 phone, while emergency situations must be immediately communicated to the Military Police by the 190 number.
The guidance of the authorities is for victims or people close to them to seek help in identifying situations of threat, aggression or any form of violence within the family environment.
