Driver without a CNH and under the influence flees from police stop, runs through traffic lights and is arrested in Ponta Grossa
Driver was arrested in the early morning of this Saturday (9). The vehicle had pending documentation issues

A driver without a CNH and embricated was arrested in the early hours of Friday (9), around 1:46, in Ponta Grossa. The incident was recorded in Avenida João Manoel dos Santos Ribas.
Information from the Patrulhamento Viário team, points out that around 1:28 a white VW Gol vehicle was sighted transiting the street Balduíno Taques, near a nightclub with the lights off. The agents decided to take the approach.
On receiving a stop order, the driver made a breakaway, starting the vehicle abruptly, skated, and transiting at high speed on several tracks. During the escape, he drove in the opposite direction in some streets, disrespected several signs of "Give the preference" and advanced traffic lights in red, putting at risk his own physical integrity and that of third parties.
Afterwards, the team achieved success in the approach at Avenida João Manoel dos Santos Ribas. In consultation with the computerized system, it was found that the driver did not have a CNH and that the vehicle had pending documentation.
The driver was offered the ethylometer test, which he refused. However, because of the visible signs of drunkenness – red eyes, ethyl breath, difficulty balancing, altered speech, dispersed and ironic behavior, disorder in the clothes, as well as carrying alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle – the refusal term was prepared and the same was referred to the Police Station for the traffic crime.
At the police station, the driver agreed to carry out the test of the ethylometer, where the drunkenness at the wheel was duly verified. The vehicle was seized.
