Municipal Guard Seizes Drugs Hidden in Residence in Boa Vista in PG
Drugs in Boa Vista Were Seized During a Municipal Guard Operation in Ponta Grossa. Marijuana and Crack Were Hidden in a Residence
The drugs in Boa Vista were seized by the Municipal Civil Guard during an edition of Operation Saturation held on Thursday (8), in Ponta Grossa. The action ended with the location of marijuana and crack hidden inside a residence and with a woman referred to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP).
The operation was coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Citizenship and Public Security (SMCSP) and brought together different teams of the Municipal Civil Guard. Participants were agents of the Grouping of Tactical Actions (GAT), regional teams of the GCM, members of the Special Tactical Grouping with Motorcycles (GETAM) and of the Grouping of Operations with Dogs (GOC-K9).
Operation conducted approaches in Boa Vista
According to the information released by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, the agents conducted approaches and investigations in different points of the Boa Vista region during Operation Saturation.
In all, 14 people were approached by security teams, four of whom were women.
In one of the approaches, GAT agents identified a woman in the vicinity of a residence. During the personal review, no illicit objects were located with it.
Given the circumstances on the spot, the guards requested the support of the Dog Operations Group to carry out an investigation into the property.
Marijuana and crack were in between clothes
During the search, the teams found a package containing approximately 306 grams of marijuana-like substance.
About 24 grams of crack-like substance were also located, which, according to the official report, was already fractionated.
The drugs were hidden between clothes inside the residence, according to information passed on by the municipal administration.
The work was supported by the GOC-K9 team, specialized in the use of dogs in narcotics and other materials locating operations.
She was referred to the 13th SDP.
After the location of the substances, the woman received a voice of arrest and was referred to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa.
The seized material was also taken to the police station for legal procedures and for the continuation of the investigation.
